Candle Care

Please review the following guidelines to ensure your candle remains in the best condition possible.

  • when lighting your candle for the first time allow enough burn time for the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the vessel to prevent any tunneling
  •  always burn at a maximum of 3-4hours

  • Tip! Set a reminder on your phone to extinguish your candle!

  • never leave a burning candle unattended

  • place candle on a flat surface 

  • always keep your candle out of reach from children or animals
  • trim your candle wick approximately 1/4in  before each use 
  • please note - we use a superior braided cotton wick for each candle, it is common for a carbon buildup or a carbon ‘mushroom’ to develop at the end of the wick - this should be removed once the wick is extinguished to provide an optimal burn each time.
  • never let your candle burn all the way down to the vessel, we recommend leaving 1/4in  of wax at the bottom to prevent any damage to the vessel.

Preferred vessels would be cleaned out, including any remaining wax removed and label removed

Methods for getting additional wax/wick and label off a vessel can easily be found online, we have found using a double boiler method works best.
