Our Story

Innovation burns bright

Meet the Makers:

Mindy and Michelle met through Massage Therapy school in 2006 and quickly became the best of friends! In 2011 they decided to start their massage business and they built a thriving business for the past 11 years - which was unfortunately deeply affected by the Coronavirus outbreak in early 2020.

Always with their entrepreneurial spirit, during a mandatory closure they decided to spend their time experimenting with candle-making. They created “spa subscription boxes” that they hand delivered to their customers’ homes for an at-home spa experience. This kept them in touch with their clients during a difficult time and it helped the business survive the shut-down. These spa boxes contained their new candle creations…..and the rest is history!

Simple, beautiful, aromatic creations intended to bring you back center.

Our candles are Non-toxic + Clean burning | Made with LOCAL beeswax & renewable coconut wax.

About our Wax:

We have decided to utilize locally sourced beeswax for our candles. Not only because the wax itself burns with a beautiful warm-toned flame but also as a way to help support our community while also supporting the declining bee population that is so vitally important to our ecosystem. Here are some other benefits of choosing beeswax:

Beeswax purifies the air naturally while it burns by emitting negative ions into the air. (Much like a Himalayan Salt Lamp)

Because of the air cleansing properties of beeswax candles, they make a great option for those suffering from allergies or sinus sensitivity that may normally be bothered by other waxes.

Beeswax is very dense, meaning you’ll enjoy a longer burn

Beeswax is clean burning

Beeswax is renewable

Beeswax candles burn brighter than candles made from other types of wax - they emit light that is similar to the light spectrum of the Sun so you can enjoy a warmer-toned flame!

Fun Fact:

Mindy is a beekeeper - so if you want to talk bees come say hello! Look forward to raw honey in the store beginning in September!
